Victoria Pitts-Taylor received her PhD at Brandeis University. She is Associate Professor of Sociology at Queens College and the Graduate Center, Univ of New York. Dr. Taylor is the author of In The Flesh: The Cultural Politics of Body Modification as well as a number of articles and book chapters.
